Continuing College Scholarship Application


Welcome to the online application for the Continuing College Scholarship application! This application will be used to establish your eligibility for a Continuing College Scholarship. Please complete this application in its entirety by December 27th to be considered. Important note: your application will not save if you exit out before clicking the submit button at the bottom. It is recommended to read through the application first to know what all information is required before getting started!

    Essay Requirement

    For the KAM4 Scholarship, we require one essay that is between 1200 and 1500 words. Below you will find the following information you should write about in your essay. When you are writing/inputting your essay, please leave one blank line between your paragraghs. You do not have to worry about indenting. Hint: it may be easier to type your essay in Google Docs or a Word document and then copy and paste your essay into the submission box. Google Docs and Word do a great job at keeping up with your word count for you!

  • Who are you and where are you from?
  • What college do you attend and your reason for selecting this college?
  • What is your degree major and what was your reason for selecting this major?
  • What are your goals, inspirations, challenges, and motivations?
  • What are the short-term and long-term implications of obtaining your college degree?
  • What are your two areas of strength and what are two areas of improvement?
  • How do you plan to use your degree to help others?
  • What does "giving" mean to you?
  • How have you given back, to whom, where and why?


  • Additional Documents


    For your application to be complete, we need you to submit verification of college enrollment, verification of recent grade report with a 3.25 cumulative GPA, and two letters of recommendation. You may submit your documents to us via email or mail.

    Via Email: To submit your verification of college enrollment, grade report, and letters of recommendation by email, please attach the documents as pdf files and address the email to: mcclendonassociates@gmail.com. In the subject line, please provide your name and the name of the scholarship in which you are applying for. For example, SUBJECT: (Your Name) Documents For The Continuing College Scholarship.

    Via Mail:To submit your verification of college enrollment, grade report, and letters of recommendation by mail, please address your letter containing the required documents to the following address:
